The TBPW has the following objectives

1. To encourage an increasing number of women to enter the workforce and enhance their professional skills through appropriate skill trainings and other various activities.
2. To enhance level of women participation in the upliftment of socio-economic status of women of Thimi Bhaktapur.
3. To encourage academically deserving and economically under privileged young women to pursue their studies and to increase women literacy by providing different literacy programmes.
4. To develop sisterhood for mutual benefits and ultimately national development.
5. To initiate programmes for the welfare of grassroot women in Thimi.
6. To create a forum for working women of Thimi in particular to discover the diversified ways of enhancement of the efficiency in their respective fields.
